This building was originally used as a restaurant where the guest would eat upstairs and the food was prepared downstairs and brought up by a dumbwaiter. After the closing of the Inn the building was then used as a workshop. By 2004, the Mountain View Inn found a new home just up the road from its original location, and the Historical Society has been using it ever since.
